Mangaluru : National Reading Day observed at St Theresa’s School

Mangaluru, June 19 : The National Reading Day is celebrated on June 19 in honour of Late P.N. Panicker, the Father of India’s Library Movement. To mark the National Reading Day 2021, St Theresa’s School conducted an online reading activity for students from grade 1 to 10.

The students were given a short paragraph with many spelling errors in it. They were asked to read the paragraph and write the correct spellings of the words typed wrong. The activity was a welcome break for all the students in the midst of their hectic study schedule and they enjoyed their time during the activity. The students were thus encouraged to cultivate good reading habits even during online classes.
