Udupi, 30th August 2025: St Cecily’s English Medium higher primary school (CBSE), Udupi marked National Sports Day 2025 with a zealous programme.

The programme began with a prayer seeking God’s blessings, followed by a lively welcome dance and an impressive aerobic display by the students. Ancila then highlighted the significance of the day, reminding everyone of the importance of sports in daily life.

The event also witnessed the distribution of prizes for the various competitions conducted earlier in the month as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The honours were presented by Sr Lathika A.C., along with Sr Priya A.C., Superior and Kindergarten Coordinator, and Sr Preethi A.C., the vice principal.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the Fit India Pledge, reaffirming the school’s commitment to fitness and holistic development.

The entire celebration was thoughtfully organized by the Physical Education teachers, Tr Jyothi and Tr Pallavi.
