Puttur, Aug 20, 2025 : St. Philomena (Autonomous) College marked National Sadbhavana Day which is observed to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, with a programme on campus on August 20.
Addressing students, the college’s Vice-Principal, Dr Vijayakumar Moleyar, said, “A nation is strengthened by mutual harmony.” Urging students to rise above divisions of religion, language and sectarian identity, he called on them to preserve amity and uphold the spirit of goodwill on campus and beyond. Dr Moleyar also administered the Sadbhavana pledge to the assembled students.
