A powerful and inspiring skit conveyed the message that trees are silent, selfless givers essential for sustaining life. An expressive eco-themed dance also enthralled the audience celebrating the beauty and importance of Nature. The key highlight of the event was a unique initiative where each class potted a sapling to be placed and nurtured in their respective classrooms—an act of daily responsibility and green awareness.
In her insightful message, Dr Prajna emphasized the impending environmental crises humanity could face if greenery is not preserved. She encouraged students to actively plant trees and contribute to enhancing Earth’s green cover. She also distributed prizes to winners of the various thematic competitions such as Turncoat, Show and Tell and Singing held throughout the month to commemorate Vanamahotsava. The top scorers of the periodic test-1 were also awarded Scholar badge.
The programme concluded with heartfelt words of gratitude and the stoic rendition of School Anthem, leaving every student concerned yet enthusiastic about their pledge for a greener Earth.
