Mangaluru, July 26 : The spirit of mathematical thinking and creativity came alive at St. Theresa's School during the much-anticipated Theresian Aryabhata Math Fest 2k25, conducted for students of Grades 6 to 10. Organized as a house-wise competition, the event aimed to promote logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and artistic expression through mathematics.
The day was packed with engaging and enriching events:
Math in Art – Umbrella Painting: Students showcased their artistic flair by painting umbrellas with intricate geometrical patterns, creatively merging art with mathematics.
Treasure Hunt: A thrilling math-based hunt that challenged students to solve clues and advance through various checkpoints—testing their reasoning and teamwork.

Math Tables Competition: A high-energy event where students enthusiastically recited multiplication tables, reinforcing their numerical fluency.
Math Relay: Teams raced to solve a sequence of interconnected math problems, highlighting speed, strategy, and collaboration.
Rubik's Cube Completion (Team Event): A test of spatial intelligence, memory, and coordination as teams worked together to solve Rubik's Cubes—one of the most captivating segments of the day.
Math Quiz: A lively and interactive quiz featuring logical reasoning, mental math, and real-life problem-solving, which kept participants and the audience engaged.
The event was graced by Sr. Shaila, the esteemed Correspondent, who inspired the students by saying, "Math is not difficult – it's a beautiful part of life and learning." The Theresian Aryabhata Math Fest 2025 was not just a competition, but a celebration of mathematical joy, creativity, and teamwork.
