Vamanjoor, July 16 : St. Raymond's High School celebrated Bethany Foundation Day with great fervour and meaning, alongside the Inauguration of the Interact Club on July 15, 2025. The event was graced by Fr. Leo Ladrado, Chaplain for the U.S. Army, who presided over the programme. Mr. Ravikumar, Vice-President of the Parent-Teacher Association, served as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Patrick, the Interact Club Director, was also present.

The 10th Standard students under the leadership of their class teacher took the lead in organising a vibrant and inspiring programme to commemorate the Foundation Day of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany. The event commenced with a solemn prayer service and a graceful welcome dance. A touching felicitation ceremony was held to honour the Bethany Sisters for their continued mission of education and service.

The significance of the day was creatively portrayed through speeches, a skit, and cultural performances by the students of Classes 8, 9, and 10. The programme highlighted the values and vision of the Bethany Founder, Servant of God R.F.C. Mascarenhas.

Following the Foundation Day celebration, the Interact Club was formally inaugurated. Mr. Patrick briefed the gathering on the purpose and structure of the club, encouraging students to be proactive in service and leadership. The newly elected office bearers were formally inducted. Kumari Bhagyashree, the newly appointed President of the club, was honoured with the collar and gavel, symbolising her leadership role. Other office bearers received lapel pins as a mark of their responsibilities.

The session officially came to order as Bhagyashree struck the gavel, signifying the beginning of a new chapter of service, leadership, and commitment among the students.

The day was a beautiful blend of spiritual reflection, cultural expression, and leadership formation, echoing the enduring legacy of the Bethany Congregation.
