Mangaluru, July 7 : Students of 3rd standard at Sacred Heats’ Hr Pry School, Kulshekar, Mangaluru, conducted the morning assembly on 5th July 2025, in observance of Muharram.
The programme began with a short welcome speech, followed by a prayer to start the assembly in a meaningful way.
A student spoke about Muharram, focussing on its historical background and the values it represents.

This was followed by a qawwali presented by the students, which carried a meaningful connection to the occasion of Muharram. A group dance was also presented adding to the depth and variety of the programme.
The assembly concluded with a speech by the Headmistress, Sr Rita Sharal, who addressed the gathering with her thoughtful words.
