Udupi, June 10 : St Cecily’s English Medium Hr Pry. School ( CBSE), Udupi marked Environment Day 2025 with a range of enriching and thought provoking programmes. A Caption Writing Competition was held for students of Grades III to X on 6thJune, 2025 followed by a vibrant variety entertainment programme presented by students of Grade X on 9th June 2025.

Each class designed thematic charts with catchy captions on Environmental protection which beautifully adorned the stage in the auditorium.

The highlight of the celebration was the variety entertainment programme that focused on the theme of the year: “End Plastic Pollution”. The programme opened with a soulful prayer dance, followed by an informative PowerPoint presentation showcasing the dangers of plastic to our planet. A captivating dance drama further emphasized the urgent call to conserve environmental resources and adopt sustainable practices.

The chief guest of the day, Ms Seema, in her inspiring address encouraged students to revere the Environment as a lifelong teacher and practice mindful actions to save it for the future generations.

The event was smoothly compered by Muskan and Aarushi, while Vanshika extended a warm welcome to the audience. The programme concluded on a grateful note with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sejal.
