Moodbidri, June 7, 2025 : To mark the Environment Day celebration Carmel School, Moodbidri organized a series of engaging and meaningful activities to foster love and responsibility towards nature among students.

The day began with a special message in the morning assembly highlighting the importance of caring for our planet and living in harmony with the environment.

Class I & II – “Little Nature Lovers”

Our youngest students went on a joyful nature walk, observing plants, butterflies and birds around the campus. Two saplings were planted from each class . They also expressed their thoughts through colourful drawings themed around nature.

Class III – “Green Words, Green Deeds”

Students showed great enthusiasm in planting two saplings from their class. Their creativity shone through in the Tree of Slogans activity, where they penned catchy and thoughtful slogans like “Go Green to Keep the Earth Clean!” and “Save Trees, Save Life!”

Class IV – “Art from Earth”

Along with sapling planting, students created beautiful nature collages using leaves, petals, and twigs. Each collage was a unique piece of art, reflecting the beauty and diversity of nature.

Class V – “From Waste to Wonder”

The senior students impressed all with their eco-crafts, made from waste materials like old bottles, cardboard, and fabric scraps. Their creative efforts turned everyday trash into useful and decorative items. They also planted two saplings each and pledged to care for them.

The Environment Day activities were a beautiful blend of awareness, creativity and action, encouraging students to become guardians of the Earth. Together Carmel School is growing a greener tomorrow—one sapling, one act and one child at a time.
