Mangaluru, June 5 : The inaugural assembly for the first-year students of St Ann's PU College was held on 3rd June 2025 in the college auditorium with great enthusiasm and warmth. It marked the formal welcome of the new batch into the St Ann's family.

The program began on a reverent note with a prayer, invoking God's blessings for the academic journey ahead. The soulful hymns and serene atmosphere set the tone for a meaningful beginning.

To extend a warm cultural welcome, the second-year students presented a graceful welcome dance that reflected the spirit of unity, tradition, and vibrancy of college life.

Following this, the Principal of the college delivered the welcome address, offering heartfelt words of encouragement and sharing the college's vision. She inspired the new students to strive for excellence in academics and character.

The rules and regulations of the institution were then read out by Ms. Willima Dsouza, the coordinator of the Discipline Committee. She highlighted the expectations, discipline, and values that guide life at St Ann's, ensuring clarity and mutual respect in the learning environment.

An engaging ice-breaking session followed, designed to help the newcomers get to know one another and feel at ease in their new surroundings.

To conclude the session, a few fun games were conducted that brought cheer, energy, and enthusiasm among the first-year students.

The inaugural assembly successfully introduced the new students to the ethos of St Ann's and laid the foundation for a fruitful academic year ahead.
