Udupi, June 3 : A grand and joyful welcome awaited the students of St Cecily’s English Medium Hr Pry. School ( CBSE) on the reopening day, 2nd June 2025. With eager and energetic smiles, students from Nursery to Grade X walked into the vibrant portals of their beloved school, ready to embrace the new academic year 2025-’26.
The richly decorated walls and halls exuded a festive spirit creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The day began with a meaningful and enriching General Assembly, led by students of grades IX and X under the guidance of their class teachers.
The programme commenced with a symbolic presentation of the school's core values through the creation of a ‘Values Tree’, emphasizing the strong moral foundation that St Cecily’s instills in its students. This was followed by a soulful prayer service which comprised of meaningful hymns, scripture readings and heartfelt intentions, reaffirming the school's faith in God’s omnipotent guidance and blessings.
A heartwarming welcome dance and an inspiring skit titled ‘A Fresh Start With a New Perspective’ provided the added zeal to the opening ceremony.
In her welcome address, the Principal, Sr Lathika A.C. encouraged students with a thoughtful analogy of a pencil, emphasizing the power of inner strength, learning from mistakes, and leaving a meaningful mark. She also warmly introduced the new teachers and students joining the school community.
The programme concluded with the auditorium resounding with the National Anthem, marking the beginning of yet another vibrant and value-filled academic journey at St Cecily’s.
