Udupi, 26th May : St Cecily’s Eng. Med. Hr Pry School (CBSE) staff actively participated in an enriching workshop on Effective Integration of NEP 2020 in the Classroom held on 24th May 2025. The event commenced with a soulful prayer. Ms Vidya extended a warm welcome to the gathering and introduced the distinguished resource person, Dr Smitha Mathai — a renowned educator known for her dynamic and impactful training sessions.

As the session moved on to its intended objective, Dr Smitha meticulously unpacked the key principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 making the staff members aware of the progressive paradigm shift from the prevailing rote learning system to a learner-centric model aimed at positioning India as a global knowledge superpower.

She deftly engaged the teacher participants and showcased how Experiential learning could be seamlessly integrated into classroom practices as a part of holistic development of learners. She also elaborated the Curricular Integration of Essential Subjects, Skills, and Capacities encouraging educators to embrace interdisciplinary teaching.

This workshop was organized as a part of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) initiative for teachers of the school and was facilitated by Mr Chethan from Orient Blackswan publishers.

The workshop concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms Seema. The Principal, Sr Lathika A.C. expressed gratitude and appreciation to the resource person and the facilitator by presenting them with a token of appreciation.
