Kinnigoli, Aug 15 :

Fly in glory, moments of freedom in shade of joy. Proud to be an Indian.”

With these feelings and attitude for the country India and to celebrate the country's freedom, Maryvale Hr Pry School Kinnigoli organized the 77th Independence Day Programme on 14th August 2023 in the school auditorium.

The students of grades 5 and 1 celebrated Independence Day with fervent zeal and enthusiasm. The programme began by invoking God's blessings. This was filled by a cultural programme where the students paid tribute to the great leaders, brave soldiers who gave up everything for the sake of our motherland, by means of song, skit, and dance presentation. Wearing tricolor themed clothes induced a spirit of patriotism among the audience.

Mr. Stany Miranda, the vice President of PTA was the chief guest of the programme. In his speech he asked the students to respect our freedom fighters and to develop in us the same zeal to work hard to create a better nation and to build a better future, full of love, unity and understanding. Sr. Manisha the Headmistress thanked the class for the beautiful and creative programme, instilling in us the spirit of patriotism and independence.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks. It was a great opportunity for students to show their patriotic spirit and pay tribute to our great freedom fighters.
