Belthangady, Aug 21 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement unit of the Holy Redeemer Church, Belthangady organised YUVA MILAN 2k22 on 14th August 2022 at Kannada medium Hall, Belthangady.

Chief guest Rev Fr.Joseph Cardoza - Parish Priest, Holy Redeemer Church Belthangady; Principal of Holy Redeemer English Medium School and director of ICYM Belthangady Unit Rev Fr. Clifford pinto, Parish council secretary Mrs. Pauline Rego, Belthangady deanery as well as Unit Presidents and Secretaries were present on the dais.

Belthangady unit President Glen Monis welcomed the gathering. Guests on the dais lit the lamp.There was a short prayer carried out by ICYM members for God's Grace.

Fr. Joseph Cardoza addressed the youths with a useful message and Fr. Clifford gave some information about how creative youths can be. Mrs. Pauline Rego wished good luck for youths.

There was an honour for each past president of Belthangady unit and Clarin Menezes read their names.

Unit secretary Lavita Lobo gave a vote of thanks and Priyanka Madtha did the anchoring.

There was Ice-breaking and different activities were conducted. Participants enjoyed the activities and showed their activeness.

Rev Fr. Kenneth Crasta , Principal of ST. Joseph's ITI college, Mangalore gave a talk about media and youth and taught them some unknown facts about media. Participants enjoyed it a lot and put their mind on activeness.

Central executive council vice president was present and he taught some action songs to boost up the participants.

After the lunch in the noon session, as the KRYC cross had come to the unit, there was adoration of the cross by Rev Fr. Praveen Dsouza, ICYM director of Belthangady deanery and he seeked the God's grace on every youth.Then they handovered the cross to Puttur deanery.

Sushma Menezes, district general secretary of all college students union gave an inspiring talk on the topic never give up and described some situations where we give up ourselves. She carried out some activities.

The program ended with baila dance. Approximately 75 youth were actively involved in Yuva Milan 2k22.
