Vamanjoor, Aug 19 : ICYM Vamanjoor unit conducted "PAVSA PARAB", inter ward water games on the account of Youth Sunday to all the Vamanjoor parishioners on 14th August 2022 in St Joseph the Worker church ground.

The event commenced with a prayer led by ICYM youths at 2.30 pm. Parish priest & ICYM director Rev Fr. James D'souza, Assistant director Fr. Ashwin Crasta , ICYM Animator Mr Rohan Pereira, joint secretary of ICYM Mangalore diocese Mr Alrick D'silva, parish secretary Ms. Anitha Culaco, Parish Council member Mr Jerald monteiro , ICYM Unit president Mr Jhonson D'souza, secretary Saritha Saldana & Sports minister Melroy D'Souza were present on the dais.

ICYM president Mr Jhonson D'souza welcomed the gathering. The event was inaugurated by the guests bursting the water balloons.

Fr. James D'souza addressed the gathering with a message and spoke a few words about the event & wished good luck to all the parishioners. Followed by this , they began interesting games and all the parishioners actively participated in all the category based games.

In the closing ceremony , ICYM secretary Saritha Saldana delivered vote of thanks. Parish priest and Assistant parish priest distributed the prizes among the winners and the event ended at 6.30 pm with a rain dance.

Overall it was a fun filled day which led to socialization among the community and brought up team spirit and unity among the parishioners.
