June 9, 2026 : Pope Leo XIV is now on the third day of his visit to Spain, where his presence is already making a major impact on the historically Catholic nation. On his first night in Madrid, hundreds of thousands gathered for a massive prayer vigil, followed by Eucharistic adoration in silence. The next day, Pope Leo celebrated his first Mass in Spain, with more than a million people taking part in the Corpus Christi procession through the capital.
