Five days after his death, more than 400,000 people gathered in St. Peter’s Square to bid farewell to Pope Francis during a funeral Mass celebrated by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re. In a solemn week marked by mourning and reflection, pilgrims, clergy, and world leaders came together to honor the Holy Father’s legacy of compassion, peace, and unity. In a historic procession, the coffin traveled in the popemobile to Pope Francis' chosen resting place at the Basilica of St. Mary Major.
