For two nights, the basilica’s doors have remained open, allowing more than 100,000 faithful to pay their final respects. From heartfelt reflections by religious sisters and clergy to emotional tributes from global pilgrims, the atmosphere is filled with reverence. Pope Francis’s coffin was sealed today ahead of the funeral set to take place in St. Peter’s Square, which is expected to draw hundreds of thousands—including world leaders like President Trump and President Zelensky.
