The pope then traveled to Harissa, home to the Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon overlooking the Mediterranean. During a meeting with bishops, priests, consecrated men and women, and pastoral workers, the Pope highlighted the importance of coexistence, education, and support for migrants as concrete paths toward peace.

In Beirut, the pope participated in an ecumenical gathering at Martyrs’ Square, bringing together Muslim and Christian leaders, where he underscored the Catholic Church’s desire to foster dialogue inspired by divine love, so as to affirm the dignity of every human being.

The day concluded at the Maronite Patriarchate of Antioch in Bkerké, where the pope addressed over 15,000 young people, encouraging hope as the future takes shape in their hands.
