Bondel - Mangaluru, Aug 11 : On the auspicious occasion of the Annual Feast of St Lawrence on 10th August 2025, Mr Ivan D'Souza, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of the Government of Karnataka, visited the St Lawrence Shrine to seek blessings. The parish priest, Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, warmly welcomed Mr Ivan with a beautiful flower bouquet.

In a gesture of honor and appreciation, Rev. Fr Andrew felicitated Mr Ivan D'Souza with a traditional shawl and a memento, marking the significance of the occasion.

The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, Mr John Dsilva, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC), Mr Rudy Pinto, former shrine convenor, Mr Stany Alvares, President of the Konkani Sahitya Academy, Karnataka, and several PPC members.

The visit was a meaningful occasion highlighting the continued support and connection between community leaders and the shrine during the feast celebrations.
