Shivamogga, Aug 9 : Fr Franklin D'Souza, Youth Director of the Diocese of Shimoga, celebrated the festal Mass of St Lawrence Shrine, Jettinkoppa, Tirthahalli, Shivamogga, on August 7th, 2025.

Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Fr Veeresh Moras welcomed Fr Franklin D'Souza. From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Fr Franklin D'Souza led the thanksgiving healing and adoration. At 11:30 a.m., he offered the festal Holy Eucharist. He preached on the theme "Hear the voice of the risen Lord and follow him like St. Lawrence."

At the end of the Holy Eucharist, Fr Veeresh Moras led the Novena. Then donors of the feast were honored. Fr Veeresh thanked the faithful who contributed to the celebration of the feast, and he also thanked Fr Franklin D'Souza.

St. Lawrence Shrine belongs to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Tirthahalli. There is a cave meditation prayer hall. Also St. Alphonsa's relic is kept. It's a beautiful place to visit for pilgrims.
