Mangaluru , July 11 : Ms. Reshel Bretny Fernandes, a young and dynamic author and orator from Mangaluru, was honoured with the prestigious National Icon Award 2025 – Season 9 in recognition of her remarkable achievements at the international, national, and regional levels.
Known for her eloquence and literary contributions, Ms. Fernandes has authored four impactful books that address pressing issues in contemporary society. Her works have garnered praise from various quarters, including prominent leaders, and have even reached the offices of the Prime Minister, President of India, and Speaker of the Lok Sabha, among others.

In recognition of her contributions, the Bhartiya Yuva Welfare Foundation, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism (Jammu & Kashmir), the Ministry of Defence, and other government departments, has selected Ms. Fernandes for this honour.
In association with Bharat news and other renowned media platforms, the award was presented by Shri Raghuraj Singh, Minister and MLA U.P. and the occasion was graced by the ministers and other renowned dignitaries at the glorious Pradhanmantri Sangrahalaya Auditorium, New Delhi.
