May 19, 2020 : Ursuline sisters of Mangalore Province continue to show mercy and compassion to the needy people, stranded migrants, in and around Mangalore. People seem to be waiting for generous and kind hearted good Samaritans to come to their rescue and aid. Of course good number of people and different organizations continue to render their help and express their solidarity with the suffering humanity.

Sisters of Shanthi Dham Provincialate helped about 25 migrants of Odisha and Jharkhand who continue to live in Derlakatte area. On Sunday 17th May Sisters distributed the kits of rice, daal, wheat powder, biscuits, soap etc who in turn expressed their gratitude for showing concern towards them.

Similarly sisters of St Ursula Convent Bolar, through SSRDC center helped the poor and needy people of Neermarga, Uliya near Farangipet, etc. They too distributed similar kits to the people.

In the same manner , UF Sisters of Samudra Tare Convent Kulur Community served a noon meal for about 200 migrant workers at Kulur.

In Talapady School , more than 50 migrants were given shelter for many days. Of course food was given by different people/police personnel etc, but all other needs were taken care by UF sisters of Jyothi Nilaya Convent Talapady.

UF Sisters wish and pray that Almighty God continue to show mercy on all those poor and needy people and take care during this turmoil period.
