Karate is a form of Martial arts using Kicking, Punching and other kinds of defence styles. Many people learn the art of self-defence. It even builds their confidence in overcoming their fear. The purpose of Karate is to guide you out of trouble by any means necessary both in actual combat and in life.

Karate is an international sport and is included as an Olympic sport in 2021.
 
The Akhila Karnataka Sports Karate Association organised the AKSKA Cadet Junior, under 21 and Senior State Level Karate Championship 2021 held in District Indoor Stadium Gadag, Karnataka on 25th and 26th September 2021.

Student of St Agnes CBSE school, Ms Dhanyata of Grade X A participated in the Individual Kumite 59 Kg under 16-17 category and brought laurel to the school by winning the Silver Medal in the female category. The school is proud of her excellent performance and wishes her luck for her future endeavours.

The Management, the Administrator, Principal and the Staff congratulate her for the grand winning and congratulate her parents for their constant support and encouragement.

Never depart from the way of Martial Arts,
as Karate is
a defensive act from beginning to end.
