Mangaluru, Feb 25 : St Theresa’s School organised a talk on ‘Personal Health and Hygiene' for the students of grades III to V.

Dr Janina Loren D’Souza was the Resource Person. Dr Janina has completed her MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore. She currently works as a Senior Lecturer at the same institute. Sr Caron, the Vice Principal, welcomed the Chief Guest with a sapling. The School PTA Vice President Mrs Nilofer Saldanha was present for the occasion. She introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering. Dr Janina Loren D’Souza, also a parent of the school, highlighted the importance of health and hygiene to the students and gave them many tips about cleanliness. Students were taught the right way to brush their teeth, washing hands, personal grooming and the importance of following a clean and healthy lifestyle.

The program concluded with the singing of the national anthem. It was a productive day for the students who left the hall with many good insights about their own health.
