SAME Mission Completes Seven Fruitful years

Tanzania / Mangaluru, Nov 12 : Fr. Alwyn M. J. D’Souza and Fr. Ronald Pinto left Mangalore on 12th November 2012 and touched down on the African soil on 14th November 2012, Commissioned as Fidei Donum Missionaries of Mangalore Diocese to SAME Mission.

Fr Alwyn says, “It was just a small step in to the unknown...and the rest is history of Blessings and Graces from the One who sent us. Though the journey was full of challenges and indeed the Lord Jesus, kept His promise ‘I will be with you....’ and He has been a wonderful companion in our Faith Journey that was filled with awesome surprises”.

Thanking all who supported this Mission, Fr Alwyn says, “I thank for your support and prayer partnership. It’s the prayers of the faithful of our Mangalore Diocese for the Same Mission that kept us sailing”.

“May the Good Lord Bless our Bishop Emeritus Aloysius P. D'Souza for his inspiration and vision and Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha for his consistent support and blessings along with Bishop Rogath Kimaryo for his guidance and support for this unique Fidei Donum, Society of Mangalore Africa Mission (SMAM) “.

“We with much gratitude and praise to God Remember the Cardinal, VG and the Faithful of Stockholm Diocese, Sweden and all the back donors who supported in our Spiritual, Educational, Socio-Economic and Health Mission in Empowering the people of The Catholic Diocese of SAME”, added Fr Alwyn.

“Praying that more and more young people be inspired to become missionaries to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God”, concluded Fr Alwyn.
