Kanajar, Feb 12 : The inaugural ceremony of the ICSE affiliation of Lourdes English Medium School was held at Lourdes Sauharda Bhavan Kanajar on 9th February 2023. Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Bishop of Udupi Diocese and president of Catholic Educational Society of Udupi (CESU) presided over the function. Prof. Mathew C Ninan, Director of Little Rock Indian School Brahmavar Udupi and Rev. Fr. Vincent Robert Crasta, Secretary of CESU were the chief guests. Rev. Fr. Alexander Lewis, founder correspondent of Lourdes ICSE School and Mrs. Shalini, President of Neere Panchayath were the guests of honor.

The event began with the introduction of the school and its achievements by Principal Mrs. Jasmine Pinto, followed by a welcome address by Rev. Fr. Vishal Lobo, school correspondent and parish priest of Lourdes Church Kanajar.

In his keynote address Prof. Mathew C Ninan briefed about the importance of ICSE syllabus to cope with the modern advances in the world. Rev. Fr. Vincent Crasta wished the best to students and parents. Founder correspondent Rev. Fr. Alexander Lewis expressed his feelings and gratitude to the people for supporting him in this noble cause.

The donors of the school were felicitated by the Bishop on this occasion. Stany Saldanha, vice-president of parish pastoral council, Sandeep Castelino, PTA president and Ankitha Fernandes SPL of Lourdes School were present on the dais. Faculty staff Mrs. Kavitha proposed vote of thanks. Alwyn Danthi compered the program. Cultural program followed, by the students of the school.
