Vittla, Aug 29 : Karnataka Regional Youth Commission is organizing Yuvajanotsava – the Regional Youth Convention. As a part of this convention, the journey of the Cross has begun in Mangalore Diocese.

On 19th August 2022 evening at 5:30 pm, the KRYC holy cross was handed over by Puttur Deanery to Borimar parish (Vittla deanery). Parish priest Fr. Gregory Pereira led the adoration; around 40 members were present.

On August 20th August, the KRYC cross was taken by the Shamboor unit at 10:00am. Parish priest Fr.Santhosh Dsouza led the adoration. Around 20 members were present.

On the same day evening at 5:30 pm, the KRYC cross was taken by Mogarnad parish. Parish priest Fr. Paul Pinto led the adoration. Around 14 youths were present.

On August 21th Sunday evening at 6:00 pm, KRYC cross was taken by Salethur parish. Parish priest Fr. Henry DSouza SFX led the adoration. Around 80 members were present.

On August 22nd Monday morning at 8:30 am, KRYC cross was taken by Delanthabettu parish. Parish priest Fr. Sunil Praveen Pinto led the adoration. Around 25 members were present.

On the same day at 7:45 pm, KRYC cross was taken by Manela parish. Parish priest Fr. Paul Prakash Dsouza led the adoration. Around 10 members were present.

On August 23rd at 6:00 pm , KRYC cross was taken by Pervai parish. Parish priest Fr. Vishal Monis led the adoration. Around 80 members were present.

On August 24th at 6:00 pm, KRYC cross was taken by Vittla parish. Parish priest Most Rev. Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues led the adoration. Around 45 members were present.

On August 25th at 7:00 pm, the KRYC cross is taken in the procession from Vittla Deanery to Bantwal Deanery. Around 60 members were present from the Vittla deanery. The KRYC cross was handed over to Bantwal Deanery.

Fr. Henry DSouza SFX Vittla deanery ICYM director, Vittla Deanery ICYM president Avil Rodrigues, Vittla Deanery ICYM secretary Lavisha Dsouza, Vittla Deanery executive committee, council members and Vittla parish members were present.
