Bantwal, Aug 26 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Delanthabettu unit organized ‘Khela-Mel 2K22’, sports and games event for the parishioners on the occasion of the feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary on August 21, 2022 at St Paul's Church Ground, Delanthabettu.

The “Khela-Mel 2k22” event began after Eucharistic celebration.

The inaugural program began at 9.15 am with a prayer song led by ICYM members. Avinash Dsouza, Vice President of ICYM unit invited the guests and welcomed the gathering to the program.

Parish priests Fr. Sunil Praveen Pinto and Fr. Peter Serravo, Parish Pastoral Committee Vice President Maurice Paul Dsouza, Secretary Robert Dsouza, Commissions coordinator Felix Albert were the dignitaries of the programme.

During the inaugural program , Parish priest Rev. Fr Sunil Praveen Pinto, Parish Pastoral Committee Vice President Maurice Paul Dsouza and Secretary Robert Dsouza addressed the gathering.

Clavon Dsouza, unit President and Ashwin Dsouza, unit Sports Secretory along with Fr Sunil Praveen Pinto, unit director, ICYM Delanthabettu conducted various games and sports to entertain the crowd.

Various traditional and fun-filled games were conducted for different age groups. There were individual and group games such as throwball, lagori etc. All the parishioners actively participated in the event.

Lunch and breakfast was arranged for the parishioners by the ICYM team. Clavon Dsouza rendered vote of thanks.

At the end of the event, the parishioners and ICYM members joined for traditional baila dance. Altogether it was a funny and joyous event.
