Madanthyar, March 1 : Sports Indoor Stadium was inaugurated at Sacred Heart College here on 27th February 2019. This indoor stadium was a UGC grant. In the morning at 10.30am,  Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha , Bishop of Mangalore Diocese and the President of CBE inaugurated and blessed this sports indoor stadium.

After the inauguration, small stage program was held, During the felicitation program, Re.Fr Antony Sera, Rev. Fr Lawrence Masharenhas, Rev. Fr Jerome D’Souza, MLA Harish Poonja, MLC Harish Kumar, Dr Kishor Kumar and Mr Gopalkrishna K. were present.

Bishop in his massage enlightened all the students the importance of Sports in ones life. All the guests presented highlighted the importance of sports in everyones life along with studies and strongly urged students to make use of this indoor stadium in a productive way. All those who were instrumental in executing this mega project were honored. Meals were served at the end of the programme.
