Sacred Heart Church Madanthyar constructs a house for the needy family

Madanthyar, Dec 15 : Sacred Heart Church Madanthyar made the season of advent and upcoming Christmas meaningful by constructing a house for the needy family. This great project was initiated by the Parish priest Rev Fr Basil Vas with the help of many generous donors who contributed willingly to complete this project. This construction work is done by the parishnor Mr Maxim Correa and his team.

The inauguration and blessing was done by Emirates Bishop Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza at 3:30 p.m. on 14th December 2022. Even Emeritus Bishop Aloysius on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of his Episcopal Ordination contributed some money to this housing project. The Bishop congratulated the Parish Priest and the entire Parish community for undertaking this charitable activity. Finally Fr Basil Vas thanked Bishop and all the donors who helped to complete this project. This project was completed at the cost of almost Rs 9 lakhs.
