Kinnigoli, Sep 21 : Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) Holy Cross Journey began in Kinnigoli Deanery on 13th September 2022.

Journey of KRYC cross in Kirem Parish

The Holy cross was handed over by the Permude unit, Pezar deanery to Kirem unit as a part of the preparation for KRYC on 13/09/2022 at 5:15 pm. Rev Fr Oswald Monterio - Parish Priest/ ICYM director, Rev Fr Sunil D'souza - ICYM asst director, Fr Praveen Aranha SVD along with Mr. Steven Dcunha - vice president PPC, ICYM Kirem unit president and all the youths of ICYM Kirem unit, Kirem parishioners and Kinnigoli deanery youths were present to receive and honor the holy cross. Fr Oswald Monterio led the prayer service along with Fr Sunil D'souza, Fr Praveen Aranha and ICYM members. Everyone participated devotionally. On 14/09/2022 the holy cross was handed over to the Balkunje unit.

Journey of KRYC cross in Balkunje Parish

The holy cross was handed over by the Kirem unit to the Balkunje unit on 14/09/2022 AT 5:00 PM. ICYM Balkunje Unit Director Fr. Gilbert D’souza, Parish council vice president Dr. Freeda Rodrigues, Animator Melreeda Rodrigues, ICYM President Carolin D'souza, core committee members, along with Unit members and parishioners were present to receive the cross. The prayer service was led by the members of ICYM. Everyone devotionally participated in the same. On 15/9/2022, the holy cross was taken to many houses in 3 different wards and people were gathered to pray. Later that evening, the cross was handed over to the Kinnigoli Unit. The journey of the KRYC cross was a blessing for all the Balkunje Parishioners.

Journey of KRYC cross in Kinnigoli Parish

The holy cross was handed over by the Balkunje unit to the Kinnigoli unit on 15/09/2022 AT 5:00 PM. ICYM Kinnigoli Unit Director Fr. Faustine Lobo, Asst. Director Fr. Vivek Deepak Pinto, President Nealon D'souza, Secretary Dolcy Sweezal Santhumayor, Fr. Lancy Saldanha, Parish council vice president Shaila Sequeira, core committee members, along with Unit members and parishioners, altogether around 70 people were present to receive the cross. FR. Vivek Deepak Pinto led the prayer service with the assistance of the ICYM members, everyone devotionally participated in the same. On 16/09/2022, the cross was handed over to the Neerude Unit. The journey of the KRYC cross was a blessing for all of them.

The journey of KRYC cross in Neerude Parish

The holy cross was handed over by the Kinnigoli unit on 16 September to the Neerude unit. Fr. Alban Rodriguez led the prayer service with the assistance of the ICYM members. Everyone devotionally participated in the same. The following day on 17 September the cross was handed over to the Niddodi unit.

The journey of KRYC cross in Niddodi Parish

On the 17th of September Saturday, ICYM Niddodi along with Niddodi Parishioners welcomed the KRYC Holy Cross from Neerdue Parish at 4:00 PM.

Rev Fr. Denis Suares – Parish Priest Little Flower church Niddodi led the Prayer service and Adoration followed by Holy Mass. ICYM Niddodi President Stallan Serrao, ICYM Kinnigoli Deanery Secretary Lester Lasrado, ICYM Core committee members Unit Members, and the Parishioners participated in this Holy Ceremony. Altogether more than 100 people were present to receive the Holy Cross. Everyone Devotionally Participated as the Cross was a sign of Unity among Youths.

On 18th September the Holy Cross Was handed over to the Pakshikere Unit at 10:30 AM. The Journey of KRYC was a Blessing for All the Niddodians.

Journey of KRYC cross in Pakshikere Parish

The holy cross was handed over by the Niddodi unit to the Pakshikere unit on 18/09/2022 at10:30am.

Fr. Stany Fernandes led the prayer service with the assistance of the ICYM members, everyone devotionally participated in the prayer service.

On 18/09/2022 at5:00 pm, KRYC Cross journey continued from Pakshikere Parish of Kinnigoli Deanery to Mulki Parish (Surathkal Deanery). ICYM Pakshikere Unit in collaboration with Kinnigoli Deanery organized a 2-wheeler Rally in which the youth of Kinnigoli deanery participated in large numbers.

The Journey of the KRYC cross was a blessing for all the youths of Kinnigoli Deanery.
