Kirem, Sep 10 , 2023 : The feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary was celebrated at Our Lady of Remedies Church Kirem with traditional solemnity on September 8. Fr. Francis Xavier Gomes was the main celebrant and preached the homily. Parish priest Fr. Oswald Monteiro, Fr. Apolinaris Crasta and Fr. Gabriel  Pinto were a co-celebrants. 

Earlier new corns were blessed at Damaskatte Junction and people went in a procession to the church. 

After the mass Payasam and Sugar cane were distributed to people. 

Afternoon various games were conducted by ICYM and YCS for parishioners. They held a photo competition of decorating the family altar, dining with the family and singing a Mariam hymn in the family.
