Mangaluru, Jan 30 : On 28th July 2023, the ICYM unit of St. Roque Church, Neerude celebrated Vanamahotsava with great enthusiasm and commitment. On this occasion, the unit members took the initiative to plant tree saplings in the vicinity of the church, contributing to the greenery and environmental sustainability of the area. Alongside President Royden Vaz and ICYM members, Director Rev. Fr. Alban Rodriguez, Animator Oswald D'souza, and all the parishioners were commendable in ensuring the smooth organization and execution of the tree plantation drive.

Following the tree planting activity, the ICYM members took the noble endeavor a step further by distributing tree saplings to every family within the Parish. This thoughtful gesture aimed to foster a sense of responsibility towards nature. The unit members demonstrated their commitment by wholeheartedly participating in this initiative, which will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the local ecosystem. The success of this event was a result of the collective cooperation and support from President Royden Vaz, Director Fr.
