Bantwal, Sep 5 : As part of the Regional Youth Convention Programme of the Karnataka Regional Youth Commision, the Journey of the Holy Cross has begun in Mangalore Diocese.

On 25th August 2022 at 6:30 pm , the KRYC Holy Cross was handed over to Bantwal Deanery by Vittla Deanery at Infant Jesus Church Bantwal . Along with Bantwal Unit , 4 more Units were merged for this Journey of Cross they are Bambil Unit , Bellore Unit and Thodambil Unit . Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Valerian Dsouza welcomed the Cross and Director of ICYM Bantwal Deanery Rev.Fr. Rahul Dexter Dsouza led the adoration . Around 30 youths and parishioners were present during this Handover .

On August 27th , the KRYC Cross was handed over by Bantwal  Unit to Omzoor Unit along with Pavoor Uliya Unit at 5:45 pm . Rev.Fr. Alwin Dcuhna welcomed the KRYC Cross and led the adoration . Around 25 youths were present for this event .

On 28th August the Holy Cross was taken to Farla Unit from Omzoor Unit at 4:30pm . Rev.Fr. Sunil Miranda welcomed the Cross and led the prayer service. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. John Pereria led the adoration and read the word of Lord and short reflection . The Youths of Nirkan  Unit and Allipade Unit were also present for this Journey of Cross . Around 30 youth, YCS and Altar servers, parishioners took part in this adoration.

 
On August 30th the KRYC Cross was handed over by Farla Unit to Loretto Unit in collaboration with Agrar Unit and Kuppepadav Unit at 5:30 pm . Parish Priest Rev.Fr.  Francis Crasta welcomed the Holy Cross and Rev.Fr. Jaison Monis led the adoration. Around 40 youth and parishioners were present .

On 31st August 2022 the Journey of HOLY CROSS was ended in Bantwal Deanery . It was handed over to Vamadapadav Unit of Moodabidri Deanery from Loretto Unit of Bantwal Deanery . All the members of the Executive Committee were present. The Rally was conducted. Around 75 youth and parishioners were gathered.
