Monthi Feast Celebration at Holy Family Church, Omzoor

Omzoor, Sep 8 : Monthi Feast or Feast of the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary was celebrated with devotion at Holy Family Church, Omzoor on 8th September 2022.

Fr Boniface Pinto, Spiritual Director at Jeppu Seminary was the main celebrant. He was accompanied by the Parish Priest Fr Alwyn D’Cunha. Fr Pinto preached the homily and enlightened the importance of 3 Mother’s – ‘Mother Mary, Maternal Mother and the Mother Earth’.

After the Holy Mass, Fr Boniface Pinto was felicitated for his selfless service of 2½ months at Omzoor Church.

'Mordem' People were honored with 'Mordem' Candles. The blessed new paddy was distributed to all by the Parish Pastoral Council. The Devotees were then served with snacks by Sthree Sanghatan and Sugarcane by ICYM.
