Mangaluru : ICYM City Deanery Organized 'Burning Bush' youth retreat

Mangaluru, Apr 5 : In this holy month of Lent, ICYM City Deanery organised an evening with Jesus, a youth retreat on 2nd April 2022. The Christian heart is that the unconsumed bush with the fire in the midst of it indicated that the Israelites would not be consumed by the afflictions in Egypt. The Retreat was committed to connect the youth to God.

Rev Fr. Clifford Fernandes, Parish priest, Cordel preached the retreat. Throughout the session, he spoke wise words to the youth, encouraging them towards Christ by symbolising the significance of the Burning Bush.

With the guidance of Rev Fr. Anil D'mello, Director, ICYM City Deanery and efforts of Mr. Melston Noronha, president and the other members of the city Deanery , the program turned out to be successful. The session was a delight, thanks to the participation of 83 young people.
