Mangaluru, Aug 8 : The honouring ceremony of the Children of the members of the St. Christopher association, who have excelled in their Talent was held at the Rosario Cultural Hall on Sunday, 7th August 2022.

Addressing the students, the Chief Guest of Sri Waltar Nandalike, the Founder and Director of Daiji world, asked them to walk towards achieving their goals with Positive thinking. "What is found in society is more of negativity, we must not take that into consideration, instead analyse each situation, suppress the negativity, do hard work and be achievers, with a positive mind. Prepare for Competitive examination, to get the placement in the Government Services as well as corporates, grab the opportunities and always work with the motto of service".

Rev. Fr. JB Crasta, Director of St. Antony's Charity Institutions, addressed all the members and directed the children to respect the elders, listen to their advice and be successful in life, at the same time develop the agriculture of human love in your neighborhood irrespective of religion, caste and creed.

The Rector of the Cathedral Rev. Fr. Alfred Pinto in his presidential remarks, congratulated all the members for their committed service of 56 years for the Society and for the upliftment of the Children of the members of the association.

"This association being the association of owners and drivers of the vehicles have more responsibility in the society and their services will have a larger impact on all, and therefore I wish great future for this association", he added.

The Hon. President Sri Sushil Noronha, conducted the Honouring Ceremony and introduced all the achievers.

President of the association Dr. John Edward D'Silva welcomed the gathering, the Secretary Sunil Lobo proposed the Vote of thanks. The Vice President Sri John Baptist Gomes, the Joint Secretary Sri Jerald D'Souza were present on the dais. Sri Lancy D'Cunha compered the programme.

The Holy Eucharist was celebrated before the formal function and the main celebrant was Fr. JB Crasta, the Blessing the vehicles followed after the mass.
