Mangaluru, Jun 23 : Mangalore City High School Headmasters and Pre-University College Principals Committee, Mangalore, D.K. (MCHMPA) arranged an Educational Conference to honour SSLC 2022 Meritorious students , School heads who have achieved 100% results, Retired heads and to distribute Stany Francis Baretto Scholarship, on 23rd June 2022 at 10 am in Rosario Cultural Hall, Mangaluru.

From 9:00am - 10:00am there was registration and breakfast. The programme began with prayer and Nada Geete by students of Rosario High school. All people were welcomed through a welcome dance by Students of Rosario high school.

Inauguration of the programme was done by Fr. Alfred J. Pinto, Parish Priest of Rosario Cathedral Church. Shri S.L. Bhojegowda , MLC was the Chief guest. Smt Rajalakshmi K , Principal And DDPI (Development), DIET, Mangalore presided over the programme and Shri Sudhakara K, DDPI (Admin), DIET, Mangalore extended his best wishes. Shri Stany Francis Baretto , Graduate Assistant, Milagres high school Mangalore was present as Guest. Smt Jayavanthi and Smt Jayashree were also present for the programme.

Rev. Fr. Alfred J Pinto delivered an apt message. He said that teachers are doing a fabulous job, noble work and their encouragement to the students is great. They find out the talents in children and help them to blossom and the new concept of NEP is a way to change our attitude and lifestyle.

This was followed by honouring. First Retired heads were honoured followed by a message from Chief Guest Shri S.L. Bhojegowda. He said that D.K is giving proper education and all the facilities should be given to provide this. All children should be given compulsory education till 21 years as per government rules. All the possible help should be given to MCHMPA. If the infrastructure is good , teachers are able to provide good education and bring changes in society , opined the chief guest.

Secondly SSLC 2022 Top achieving students were honoured with a message from Sri Sudhakar K. He said, through teachers it is possible to create the best society. D.K has prestigious schools and they are good for quality education. Their hard work in making the dull students pass is praise worthy. Many students have scored 625 marks and it is quite remarkable, opined Sri Sudhakara.

Finally School heads who have achieved 100% results were honored. Scholarship was distributed to the students with a message from Mr. Stany Francis Baretto. He said, “Good nature, good belief and respect, these three things should be there in every family and this is all I pray and wish”. He also did social service by contributing Rs.90,000 in the form of scholarship to the students and Rs.40,000 as sponsor for the day’s programme.

President Aloysius Dsouza welcomed the gathering and Secretary Matilda Dcosta proposed vote of thanks. Sr. Anitha Dsouza and Shanthi Lobo compered the programme. The programme concluded with the National Anthem. Lunch was served to all.
