Training for the Lectors held at Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa

Mangaluru, Aug 23 : The Commission for Bible and Catechetics, Proclamation and Evangelisation and Commission for liturgy organized a training programme for Lectors and choir members of Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa from 4.00 p.m to 7.00 p.m on Sunday, 21st August. Rev. Fr. Vijay Machado, Director of Mangala Jyothi was the resource person.

The Programme began with prayer led by the Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Johnson Pereira. The Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Benjamin Pinto welcomed the resource person and the participants. Fr. Vijay Machado explained in detail about the history of liturgy, importance of liturgy and liturgical singing.

At the end, a lot of queries were answered by the resource person. Certificates were distributed to all the participants. The programme ended with Prayer.
