Mangaluru, Aug  23 : The feast of Assumption of Mother Mary and 75th Independence Day was celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa on 15th August 2022. The main celebrant of the festal mass and chief guest of the day was Msgr. Maxim Noronha, the Vicar General of Mangalore Diocese, who also hoisted the flag and gave his message to the gathering. Rev. Fr. Benjamin Pinto, Parish Priest and Correspondent of the school gave few inputs on Patriotism.

Students and teachers of all three schools and Parishioners paid respect to the Nation. Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Johnson Pereira, Mr. Lloyd Lobo, vice President of PPC and Mrs. Lucy DSouza, secretary were also present. There was a cultural Programme from the school children. Mrs. Roshini D'Souza welcomed and Miss. Vinitha D Costa delivered vote of thanks. Sweets were distributed at the end.
