Mangaluru : ICYM members of Urwa Parish visit 'DeMercede Ashram' for children

Mangaluru, Aug 8 : The ICYM members of the Urwa Parish visited an orphanage called DeMercede Ashram for children on July 31st, 2022. DeMercede Ashram is situated in Panir near Deralakatte. Sr. Luciana Pinto, the head of the orphanage welcomed all.

The programme began with a small prayer followed by games and fun activities for the children of different age categories. To make it interesting and fun, ICYM members taught action songs and short dances which kept the children entertained. The youth in the presence of Fr. Johnson, assistant director of ICYM handed over the essentials to the head of the orphanage.

Asst Parish Priest Fr. Johnson Pereira, Lloyd Lobo - PPC Vice President, Neil Dsouza - YCS Animator accompanied ICYM members. 17 ICYM members were present and all were very happy to visit the Ashram.
