Mangaluru, June 26 : ICYM Episcopal City Deanery held the Annual General Meeting and Election for the year 2023-24 on 18th June 2023 at 4:00PM at Bendur.

The dignitaries were V. Rev. Fr. Vincent Monterio - Vicar Forane Episcopal City Deanery and Parish Priest Bendur, Preemal D'Souza - General Secretary ICYM Central Council and Deanery representative, Sonali Rodrigues - Deanery President, Anvitha Ferros - Deanery Secretary.

The meeting began with Prayer conducted by Melanie Cutinha - Joint Secretary ICYM Episcopal City Deanery.

Sonali Rodrigues - President ICYM Episcopal City Deanery welcomed the gathering. Anvitha Ferros - Secretary ICYM Episcopal City Deanery briefed about the Annual Report and Mishal Lobo - Treasurer ICYM Episcopal City Deanery gave an Annual statement of income and expenses incurred in the past one year.

ICYM Central Council General Secretary and Deanery Representative Preemal D'Souza gave a description about the duties and responsibilities of the office bearers towards their posts and conducted the election.

The following members were elected for the year 2023-24 :

Lady Vice President - Suzannha Ferrao, Kulur
Secretary - Carol Monteiro, Kulur
Joint Secretary - Riana D’Cunha, Valencia
Treasurer - Teena Pashao, Jeppu
Auditor - Lanlyn D’Souza, Milagres
Amcho Yuvak/ PRO - Mishal Lobo, Thannirbavi
Red Drop Representative - Snehal Lobo, Urwa
Immediate Past President - Sonali Rodrigues, Bejai

Later the former office bearers handed over their post to the newly elected office bearers and this was followed by oath taking of the new office bearers conducted by Vicar Forane V. Rev. Fr. Vincent Monterio.

Sonali Rodrigues thanked everyone for their support throughout the year. The newly elected President Joswin Pinto expressed his gratitude and requested everyone for their support. V. Rev. Fr. Vincent Monteiro addressed the gathering and congratulated all the newly elected office bearers. Meeting was compered by Teena Pashao. Anvitha Ferros Secretary 2022-23 proposed the vote of thanks.
