Puttur, May 31 : The Stri Sanghatan was inaugurated and began at Nidpalli parish on 29th May 2022. Rev Fr Jason Lobo the parish priest of Nidpalli along with the vice president Gracy Crasta, secretary Francis Dsouza and the convener of women commission Amitha were present on the dais and inaugurated the Stri Sanghatan.

Parish priest conducted the election of the office bearers. The first elected office bearers of Nidpalli unit are President Pauline Dalmeida, vice president Amitha Ferrao,  secretary Jacintha Dsouza, assistant secretary Priya Dalmeida, treasurer Reshma Dsouza and Jagran magazine representative Mary Dsouza.

Rev Fr Jason while addressing the women said that women make home happy and always work for the good of family, yet very few understand this and recognise it rarely. This organisation helps women to empower them. Vice president Gracy Crasta said that it was the dream of Nidpalli parish women to begin the Stree Sanghatan and it helps women to overcome some of their difficulties and it gives them some identity in the parish.

The program was organised by women commission, compered by Babitha DSouza, prayer was led by Jacintha DSouza, welcome was done by Jecintha DSouza and Amitha thanked all.
