Puttur, Dec 13 : On the occasion of Christmas, ICYM unit of St John the Baptist Church, Kokkada organized Annual Sports Meet 2023-24 to all parishioners on 10th December 2023. ICYM Kokkada Unit President Pradeep D'souza welcomed the gathering.

The event was inaugurated by lighting the lamp in the presence of ICYM Director Rev Fr. Jagadish Pinto, chief guest Mithun Gowda, Fr. Ashok D'souza, Parish Vice President Praveen Noel Monteiro , Secretary Veena Madtha,ICYM Secretary of Mangalore diocese Wilma Viyola Lobo, Red drop representative of Mangalore diocese and representative of puttur deanery Kevin Rodriguez, ICYM secretary of puttur deanery Priya Rishal Rego, ICYM President Pradeep D'souza and ICYM Secretary Sahana Mariya D'souza.

Parishioners were divided into six teams based on their wards. The event began with March Past. ICYM members conducted several games for all age groups.

Morning breakfast and noon meal was provided to all the parishioners. The winners were awarded with the medals. All the parishioners actively participated in the games.
