Mangaluru, Sep 28 : ICYM Mariashram unit organised “Grandparents' Day” on 25th September 2022 at 3pm.

Program was started with a prayer song led by ICYM members. Mr Lanson Sharon Dsouza welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Gerard Pinto - The parish priest and the Director of ICYM Mariashram unit, Mr Francis Dsouza- Parish vice-president, Mr Francis Monteiro - ICYM animator, Dora Rodrigues - Lucky guest, ICYM Kasaragod Deaneary Auditor Nishmitha , ICYM Mariashram Unit President Lanson Sharon Dsouza and Secretary Alvita Priyo Lobo were the guests of the day.

ICYM Mariashram Unit honoured Mrs Lily Veigas aged 84. She was the seniormost person who attended this program. Miss Alvita Priya Lobo rendered Vote of thanks.

Various games and action songs were conducted by ICYM members.

73 members attended this programme, All the attendees were presented with a token of gratitude towards the end of the program. This was followed by snacks and coffee.

Also they visited Mrs Agnes D’Mello aged 96. She was honoured by ICYM Members along with ICYM Animator and Ward Gurkar Sunil Crasta, as she was the seniormost person from the parish.

Around 11 youths were present.
