Moodbidri, Aug 27 : ICYM Moodbidri Deanery in collaboration with ICYM Moodbidri Unit and Rotract Club Moodbidri organized Bakrid Celebration under the banner " Bakrid Sneha Banduthva " on Friday,16th August 2019 at Rotary Sammilan Sabhangan here.

The programme commenced at 7.30 pm. Shravan Kumar – President, Rotract Club welcomed the gathering. Chief Guest Maqbul Hussain - Rotract Chairman presided and inaugurated the programme along with V. Rev. Fr Paul Sequeira – Director, ICYM Moodbidri Unit / Vicar Forane, Moodbidri Deanery, Shravan Kumar - President, Rotract Club Moodbidri, Rayan – Secretary, Rotract Club Moodbidri / President – ICYM Moodbidri unit and Roydon Fernandes - President, ICYM Moodbidri Deanery.

Maqbul Hussain addressed the gathering by explaining the importance of Bakrid and the pillars of Islam. V. Rev. Fr Paul Sequeira addressed the gathering by saying , “Every religion teaches us only to empower ourselves and to love and help each others. That is the real motto of religion and our life”. He also said all the religion teaches to do better for ourselves and others.

Roydon Fernandes – President, ICYM Moodbidri Deanery rendered the vote of thanks and Joyston – Secretary, ICYM Moodbidri unit compered the programme.
