Shivamogga, April 12, 2024 : Diocese of Shimoga gets one more new Church at Anandapura, Sagar Taluk, Shivamogga. On April 11th His Excellency Most Rev. DR Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of Diocese of Shimoga, inaugurated and blessed the new Church dedicated to St. Jude at Anandapura, Sagara Taluk, Diocese of Shimoga.

His Excellency Most Rev. Dr Duming Dias, Bishop of Diocese of Karwar preached a homily on the importance of the place of worship. He explained from the Bible the importance of the temple in the life of the faithful.

Parish Priest Rev. Fr Minin Almeida thanked the Bishops, Priests and Religious and the faithful.  After the Holy Eucharist a Felicitation function was held to honour the Donors and workers.
