Hiriyur - Chitradurga, April 6, 2023 : Yesusparsha Team led by Bro. T. K. George, Prolife Manjula Joy and Bro. Harshith Castelino began their retreat at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga on April 3.

Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza welcomed the team.

At 5pm Prolife Manjula Joy led the intercessory Rosary. At 5:45pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship. At 6:30pm Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "Power of Prayer and shared her testimony".

At 7:15pm Bro. T. K. George spoke on "Meaning of Jesus and Jesus the Saviour". At 8pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist and preached a homily on "Importance and meaning of Lent".

At 8:45pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Team led the healing adoration.

Retreat concluded at 9:15pm. Bun and Banana was served for all.

Day 2:

Second day's Holy week Retreat began at 5pm on April 4 with the intercessory Rosary led by Prolife Manjula Joy.

At 5:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship. At 6:15pm Prolife Manjula Joy spoke on "Sin and its Consequences".

At 7pm Bro. T. K. George spoke on "Biblical blessings and Repentance". At 8:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza celebrated the Holy Eucharist.

At 9pm Bro. T. K George and Team led the healing adoration.

Retreat concluded at 9:30pm. Bun and Banana was served for all.

Day 3:

Third and final day's Holy Week Retreat began at 5pm on April 5 with Intercessory Rosary led by Prolife Manjula Joy. Then at 5:30pm Fr Franklin D'Souza and Bro. Harshith Castelino led the Praise and Worship.

At 6pm Prolife Manjula Joy prepared faithful for the Confessions. At 6:30pm Confessions were organised. Fr Clarence Dias from Chitradurga, Fr George Sudeep Paul from Challakere, Fr Arokia from Molakalmuru and Fr Nelson D'Souza helped in the Confessionals.

At 7:45pm Bro. T. K. George led the healing adoration. Team prayed for the Children, Youth, Widows & Widowers, Priests & Religious and for the couples.

At 8:45pm Fr Franklin D'Souza offered thanksgiving Holy Eucharist. Hence three days Holy week Retreat was concluded at 9:30pm.

Parish Priest Fr Franklin D'Souza thanked Bro. T. K. George, Prolife Manjula Joy and Bro. Harshith Castelino for helping parishioners through this retreat to celebrate Holy week and Triduum in a meaningful way.

Bun and Banana were served for all the participants.
