Kottapuam, Aug 29 : The 44 Bethany sisters set out to be one with the people of flood victims of Kerala at Kottapuam Diocese.

Sr Santhosh Maria the Provincial Superior of Southern Province says “It was heart breaking sight to see how the people were subjected to this natural calamity and lost everything and left with absolutely nothing. Our presence with love, care and compassion enkindled in them a ray of hope to start a new as we engaged ourselves in cleaning and clearing of their houses. This experience has made a remarkable impact on us and the lives of the people. All were motivated to work with greater zeal and vigor for the betterment of the humanity”

They responded to the clarion call of their Superior General Sr Rose Celine to share their spiritual wealth and human resource.
